About Us

Thaokar Group's remarkable journey began in 1950, with Shri Marotrao Vithobaji Thaokar laying its foundation stone. Supported by his devoted wife, Shrimati Bagheratha, Marotraoji started modestly—selling loose tobacco crafted by Bagheratha in the Daily/Weekly market, using a bullock cart as transportation which was his mobile sales office as well.

With the second generation at the helm—Shri Gunaji Marotrao Thaokar, Shri Prabhakar Marotrao Thaokar, and Shri Ratnakar Marotrao Thaokar—the Group flourished into a household name in the region and formalised the business in 1962. Their vision and dedication led to the establishment of the production facility at Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur and a sales office in Nagpur's bustling business hub, Itwari. Innovating further, they were pioneers in introducing semi-automated machinery in Tobacco Industry in 1992.

This ingenuity and commitment cemented the Group's flagship product, "Sarvotkrusht Nagpuri Tambakhu," famously known as "Thaokar Tambakhu," as a market leader across Central India.

Today, under the leadership of the third generation, represented by Mr. Kamlesh Gunaji Thaokar and Mr. Rajan Ratnakarji Thaokar, the Group has reached new heights. Embracing a global outlook, they've successfully diversified into multiple sectors, including IT & ITeS, FMCG, Tea, Fitness and Real Estate. Within just a decade, the Thaokar Group boasts a growing workforce of over 300+ professionals and an expanding customer base across the Middle East and Africa.

Situated in Nagpur, Maharashtra the manufacturing facility is just 200 miles from Guntur which is a major commercial centre for exports of tobacco and famous for its tobacco plantation.

Our Processing unit being strategically located makes it easier and faster for us to receive tobacco and deliver the final product to our clients and reduces their transportation cost.

Our Processing facility is housed in a 10,000 sft building and a storage facility of 30,000 sft. We vigilantly maintain our tobacco processing operations to ensure we are continually offering our clients high level of value, quality and innovation.

At Infinity tobacco, we believe the manufacturing facility is like a kitchen and all efforts are made to maintain the hygiene, quality and standard during and after production.

The facility is a small scale PMD with a present capacity of processing 200 tonnes tobacco a month.
